Abstract :
The antibacterial activity of Enterocin Pediatric Syrup was evaluated against E.coli, Salmonella & Shigella at 5% and 15% concentrations of the Syrup
by agar-agar with diffusion method. Bacterial bioburden tests were conducted which shown significant reduction in the colony count of the same.

Abstract  :
Leucoderma, a disease of melanin deficiency due to either altered melanin synthesis or local dermal melanin deficiency. As non-responsive to present therapeutics, a clinical evaluation of indigenous composite Capsule Heme Caire as Oral supplement and Packsule Skin-Caire as topical application with Extract of MUSA SAPIENTUS was conducted, in the patients attending the diagnostic cum treatment camps of Leucoderma Foundation of India at Ranchi, Patna and Leucoderma Cell of RA. Hospital and Research Centre, Warisaliganj (Nawada) reveals-

Grade 1 Clinical response to majority cases of stage 1st , 2nd  and 3rd  patients  marked improvement in stage 4th, except the patients whose continuing Psoralen been withdrawn abruptly had initial exacerbation.

Thus the indigenous composite plays a vital role in treatment of Leucoderma and it is worth prescribing, at least in fresh cases of mild to moderate cases.

PEPTICAIRE CAPSULES

ANTI-ULCER ACTIVITY OF PEPTICAIRE, A HERBOMINERAL FORMULATION

Abstract :
Pepticaire, a herbomineral formulation, was tested for its anti-ulcer activity in rats.
Effects of various doses (125,250,500 and 1000 mg/kg, p.o.) of Pepticaire were studied on gastric mucosal injury in rats. The reduction in ulcer index in both the models along with the reduction in the volume and in total acid secretion. Also an increase in the pH of gastric fluid in pylorus – legation rats proved the antiulcer activity of Pepticaire. Thus it can be Concluded that Pepticaire possesses anti-ulcer activity.

Abstract :
Activit, a herbomineral formulation was tested for its antioxidant activity in Isoproterenol induces mycordial infarction in rats. Effects of Activit in various doses (125, 250, 500) and 1000 mg/kg, p.o.) was studied in animals who received isoproterenol. The serum was estimated for creatine Kinase, lactate dehydrogenase, uric acid, SGPT AND SGOT. The animals were there sacrificed and the heart was dissected out for assays of lipid peroxidation, endogenous antioxidant enzymes (superoxide dismutase and catalase) and reduced glutathione (GSH). Membrane bound enzymes (Na+K+ATPase,Ca2 ATPase, and Mg2+ ATPase) were also estimated. It was found that there Thus it can be Concluded that Activit enhances antioxidant status.

A CLINICAL STUDY OF ASHOGYN SYRUP IN DYSFUNCTIONAL UTERINE

Abstract :
A clinical study of Ashogyn syrup was done on 26 patients of Dysfunctional uterine bleeding  It was found that ashogyn syrup shown a good clinical response in patients of Dysfunctional uterine bleeding where 17 patients were cured, 7 improved and 2 did not shown any response.
